PREPARING FOR BOTH TESTS:It is desirable to measure both your metabolic rate and body fat at a true resting level. We recommend the following preparation: Avoid exercising 2 hours before the tests. METABOLIC TESTRelax and close your eyes. During your test, you can read a book or magazine. In just a few minutes, your metabolic rate will be measured, and those results will be used to calculate your Calorie Use. BODY FAT TESTIt is essential you wear approved form-fitting clothing for accurate results. Acceptable clothing includes: Spandex, Lycra, or other Speedo type swimsuit Spandex or Lycra compression shorts and light-weight sports bra (no padding or wires). After some basic identifying information is entered into the program, you step into the Bod Pod and sit comfortably for three brief measurements. That’s it! Simple and Effective!
